Jack’s 2nd Halloween was so fun. I was really looking forward to it, and we had a great time. He’s still sick, so we limited time outside [especially with the cooler weather].
We spent a few minutes outside looking at the fire truck. We learned this year that the firemen from the station down the road bring the truck to our neighborhood every Halloween. So much fun for all the kids! Jack pointed to it and said “CAAAH”, which is how he says car. He calls airplanes and helicopters cars, too.
After spending a few minutes looking at the truck and hanging out with the neighbors, we headed back inside. Got to protect those little wheezy lungs. Then Jack became really fascinated with playing with the candy. He spent awhile pouring it out of the bowl and putting it back in. He also liked seeing everyone come to the door.
We wrapped up the evening with a bath and a breathing treatment before heading to bed. We had a lot of fun hanging out and snuggling our super-snuggly sock monkey!
