  1. Hello Lauren, Tommy, Jack, and Gabriel! We love you so much! You will hear that a lot in the coming days and months. The marvelous thing, though, is that God loves you so much more than we could ever imagine. What hope in the midst of hopeless and helpless emotions; what a promise when no doctor can give you “promises” right now; and what comfort He has for you when you feel empty. You are loved by us..it gives me hope to know that YOU know and trust in our God who is the Mighty Comforter!

  2. Lovely blog! Wasn’t sure if you are aware of some good trisomy support groups. We have a large trisomy community on facebook. The group is called Trisomy 18 Mommies and started out 4 years ago as a T18 support group. We now have some other trisomy families on there as well. 🙂 Very informative and lots of great information. If you would like to join us, check us out at https://www.facebook.com/groups/T18Mommies/.

I have a daughter with full trisomy 18 that is going to be 4 years old. You can see her photo on my post picture from Facebook. Her blog is http://buddzoo.blogspot.com and her facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/rebekah.budd.

There are some other trisomy orgs out there that provide support and hope for families. The one I am involved with tries to focus on helping parents be better advocates for their children by being more informed. 🙂

  3. We have never met. I worship at Fellowship. Yes, I learned of your life there today. I do not personally know your story, but I do know about unexpected loss and I do know about living life that is all tangled up in hope and loss. There are no words really. Know that I am praying for you and your precious family. I am praying for Gabriel’s delivery date. I am praying for that time- that whole day. the days that follow. I am praising Jesus at the same time for things that I do not understand.
Those who walk the closest to you and know you best will not fully understand. There are no words.

  4. I don’t have many words. I don’t really know you. I just know of you’re story, and just knowing that has been a blessing to me. I am sincerely praying for your family (Gabriel included) as you go through this time. I also am very interested in where your story leads. May our Provider and Comforter show you amazing things in the time to come.

i'd love to hear from you...
